About Me
The Full Story
I don't want to wait until I'm 73 to embrace my body. To look back and think of my beauty: How did I miss it?

As a fashion major from college I had the unique opporutunity to buy women's clothing shoes, and even implement swim into a local retail store. During my expereince, I leared how to fit a woman's body to make her feel confident and sexy!

4 years ago I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and rushed into emergency surgery. I had an upper apendectomy and lower colectomy. (22 inches of small intestine, 10 inches of colon, and my appendix removed) I am considered the MOST severe case and will be on medication for the remainder of my life. After my surgery I endured 6 months of complications and major life changes. All that didn't bother me, just the scar that was left behind on my stomach.

I covered my scar with one piece swimsuits and clothing that did not show my stomach. I feared that my dreams of modeling were over.

Big picture:
My scar is a daily reminder of what I overcame and continue to. We should empower women to feel sexy.
